One Council Bluffs sewer line this year had tree roots up to 4 feet long inside it, low spots that held water, and sections of pipe that were simply gone.

One kitchen line was so full of grease our camera could not get through it. We jetted the line, then came back the next morning to see the pipe.

Every bad spot was in the yard; the pipe under the street was in good shape. The city inspection passed, then our crew backfilled and tamped the trench and laid seed mat over the yard.

July. The basement floor drain kept backing up after the homeowner tried vinegar, baking soda and an auger. The main line had a soft clog, most likely wet wipes, and our technician popped it with the camera itself.

June. A homeowner with known pipe damage wanted a relining estimate. Grease in the kitchen line blocked the camera, so we jetted it and scoped again the next morning. The findings were the same, and the homeowner chose to keep the line maintained and fix it with PVC himself. That is a fine answer, and we told him so.

May. The vertical pipe from a cast iron roof drain pan was not seated in its coupling. We adjusted the pipe hanger to seat it properly and showed the crew what to keep an eye on.
