May and June. The basement backed up at the cleanout, and the camera found tree roots, low spots and missing sections of pipe. We replaced the main line from the house to the curb. Every bad spot was in the yard, and the pipe under the street was in good shape. The city inspection passed, then our crew backfilled and tamped the trench and laid seed mat over the yard.
May. The vertical pipe from a cast iron roof drain pan was not seated in its coupling. We adjusted the pipe hanger to seat it properly and showed the crew what to keep an eye on.
This year Council Bluffs businesses also called us for a restaurant’s three-compartment sink and a store restroom that wouldn’t stop running.
